My course narrative: This class really opened up doors for me and provided me the opportunity to learn about possible career paths for me with a degree in Spanish Language and Hispanic Cultures. The class was taught by many different teachers from the department and being taught by people with such a wide variety of specialties was very eye-opening, especially because I was very unsure about my future at the time. During this time, we also took the STAMP test which allowed us to gauge our initial proficiency in Spanish. This was very useful information, as we need a certain level of fluency to graduate and the test result showed me where I needed to improve. This class fulfilled the MLO 6 requirement.
