Students work with the instructor and WLC faculty advisors to research, synthesize, write and present their Capstone projects. Students will also assemble a Graduation Portfolio reflecting how each MLO was met. This course is required for all Japanese, Spanish and World Languages and Cultures majors.
Course narrative: This class is where we did the majority of our work on our final Capstone project. Although it took a lot of time and effort, I am incredibly proud of completing such an extensive project. In this class, we practiced presenting, searched for reliable sources, and compiled months of hard work into one final paper. The work we did was largely individual and on our own time, as the class itself provided us with opportunities to practice our presentations and taught us useful skills like judging the reliability of sources and writing in a more academic register.
